Axle Shafts & Transmission Shafts
U.S. Manufacturing is currently providing fully machined and processed rear axle shafts and front yokeshaft assemblies to the automotive industry. The processes include machining, induction hardening, spline rolling, straightening, drilling, and grinding. The unique tubular extrusion process developed by U.S. Manufacturing is ideally suited for producing hollow axle shafts that will reduce the weight and cost while providing the strength necessary to meet the applications that were previously limited to solid sections. This is done utilizing our cold extrusion process that provides a tube with greater physical properties and is ideally suited for applications where weight is a concern. Our processing is also suited for products such as hollow rack and pinion steering racks and transmission shafts.
