The Department of Energy has identified USM's application for the Advanced Technology Vehicle Manufacturing incentive program as substantially complete.
The funding under this program would be used for the design, development, and capitalization of a "Blank Forming Process", which combined with other advanced manufacturing techniques will allow for competitive processing of material to be used in the manufacture of these lightweight components.
